About the Color Palette Generator

How to use it

Frequently asked questions

How are palettes generated?
Colors are derived from a base hue using the selected harmony (analogous, complementary, triadic or monochromatic) with controlled variation in saturation and lightness. "Auto" picks a harmony at random.
Can I export the palette?
Yes — PNG, SVG, CSS variables, JSON and plain text.
Do locked colors influence the others?
Yes. The first locked color becomes the base hue for the new palette.
