A temporary email address is a real, working inbox that exists for a short, fixed period and then disappears together with everything it received. You do not create an account, choose a password or share any personal details. You open the page, an address is generated for you, and you can start receiving messages immediately.
A real address, just short-lived
Messages sent to a temporary address travel across the internet exactly like any other email. Our mail server accepts them for the domains we operate, checks that the address is currently active, and places the message in the inbox shown in your browser. When the lifetime you selected runs out, the inbox is closed and its messages and attachments are permanently deleted.
What it is good for
- Signing up for a newsletter, forum, Wi-Fi portal or free trial you are not sure about.
- Receiving a one-time confirmation link or download link without exposing your main address.
- Testing your own website's registration or notification emails during development.
- Keeping marketing lists and data brokers away from your personal inbox.
What it is not for
Because a temporary inbox disappears, it should never be used for anything you may need later: banking, government services, work accounts, password recovery for important accounts, or purchases you may need receipts for. The service is also receive-only — it cannot send email — and it must not be used to break the rules of other websites or the law.
How private is it?
Access to an inbox is protected by a random secret stored in your browser, not by the address itself, so someone who learns the address still cannot read your messages. Message content is encrypted while stored and deleted automatically when the inbox expires. You can read the details in our Privacy Policy.
